We love building natural ponds, and keeping them clean and looking their best is important to us. We recommend at least one full pond clean each year by a professional team to ensure your pond stays at its healthiest. Whether you have a BHL natural pond, or a natural pond built by another company, we can arrange a regular pond maintenance program and manage this for you.

cleaning rockwork and pebbles to assist in the reduction of sediment build up in the bottom of the pond
a full clean and check of all working pond components such as pumps and filters
full water testing of the key elements such as pH, GH (Total Water Hardness), KH (Carbonate Hardness), Nitrite, Nitrate, Chlorine and copper testing if needed.

expert advice for any future changes you may like to make to your pond to enjoy it even more, such as lighting, water autofill options and fish or plant selections.
When we clean ponds we sometimes have to perform a water change. Rest assured that we keep as much of the original water as possible to ensure the beneficial bacteria is maintained in the ecosystem, since it has taken many months to establish. We don’t want your hard work to go to waste!
